Your Prescription, Perfectly Fitted
A great pair of glasses is more than an accurate prescription — it's the right frame, properly fitted lenses, and adjustments that keep them comfortable day after day. Ace Medical Care's on-site optical shop handles the full process, from selecting frames after your exam to dispensing your finished glasses and keeping them in good repair for as long as you wear them.
What Is Eyeglass Dispensing?
Dispensing is the process of translating your written prescription into a finished, wearable pair of glasses. It includes helping you choose frames that fit your face and lifestyle, verifying lens measurements, and making sure the final pair is fitted and aligned correctly before you leave with them.
What's Involved
- Frame selection: Our team can help you choose frames that suit your face shape, prescription strength, and daily needs.
- Lens measurements: Precise measurements ensure your lenses are centered correctly for clear, comfortable vision.
- Lens options: Depending on your prescription and preferences, this can include single-vision, progressive, or specialty lenses, along with coatings such as anti-reflective or blue-light filtering options.
- Final fitting: Once your glasses are ready, we adjust the fit so they sit comfortably and stay in place.
Adjustments
Glasses shift out of alignment over time — from being sat on, dropped, or simply worn daily. If your glasses are sliding down your nose, sitting crooked, or pinching behind your ears, stop by and we'll adjust the fit. This applies whether or not you purchased your glasses from us.
Repairs
Loose screws, bent frames, and broken hinges happen. Our optical shop can handle many common repairs on-site, and for damage that needs more extensive work, we'll let you know your options, including whether a replacement frame or lenses makes more sense.
- Tightening or replacing loose screws and hinges
- Straightening bent or misaligned frames
- Replacing nose pads
- Minor frame repairs
Choosing New Frames
Whether you're updating your prescription or simply want a new look, our optical shop carries a selection of frames to fit a range of styles and budgets. Our team will help you weigh factors like lens thickness, frame durability, and lens coatings so your new glasses hold up to how you actually use them.
